De Spring2 is een nieuwe generatie volledig discrete DAC met weerstandsnetwerk (beter bekend als R2R) DAC geproduceerd door Holo Audio. De Spring DAC is ontworpen en komt van Holo Audio's oprichter Jeff Zhu. Deze DAC heeft niet zoals de meeste een dac-chip, maar is een discrete ladder dac met een gepatenteerd correctie ontwerp!

Ondersteuning voor DSD1024!

DSD wordt native ondersteund door deze R2R Discrete DAC. Er zijn twee afzonderlijke DAC's, het ene ladder netwerk verwerkt DSD en één PCM. Volledig gescheiden om de beste resultaten te behalen. Holo Audio ondersteunt DSD 1024 native op R2R DAC. Indrukwekkende technologie die resulteert in een uitstekende geluidskwaliteit, die de echte mogelijkheden van DSD ten goede komt. Dit is niet de DSD geconverteerd naar PCM vóór digitaal-analoog omzetter, maar direct door de discrete componenten van de DSD digitaal naar analoog omzetter. Ondersteund momenteel op MAC (DOP) en Linux (DOP), en Windows / PC (Direct Native en DOP).

Standard capacitors are replaced with Audio-Grade Jensen 4700 microfarad / 63 Volts added for ultimate power filtration and improved sound quality – For sound effects are more relaxed, transparent and details are more apparent.

Patented R2R technology. Discrete DAC that has Linear compensation and this allows for ultimate music reproduction accuracy. Separate R2R network for PCM, and R2R for DSD.

Opamp used as input and discrete output design is applied. Fully DC coupled, no capacitors are used in signal path. Pure Class A output stages.

Spring DAC configuration options

NOS mode, without oversampling, the original data directly to the analog conversion. NOS can avoid these problems because digital oversampling can produce time-domain distortions such as ringing effects. NOS will usually have a significant impact on other performance indicators, but the spring design can make the NOS mode also maintain a good performance indicators.

OS mode, make PCM oversampling to reach a higher frequency PCM, the DSD oversampling to a higher frequency DSD, and then digital analog conversion. OS PCM mode, whether it is PCM input or DSD input, will be oversampled to PCM mode for digital analog conversion
OS DSD mode, whether PCM input or DSD input, will be oversampled to DSD mode for digital analog conversion.

Sound Quality
